Josip LONCARIC
According to the fairly accurate Croatian music website (topoftheshops.com.hr), Bosnian rapper and R&B artist Edo Maajka and his latest album 'Balkansko, a nase' is the current bestseller on the 'album's' chart.
The controversial musician from the northern Bosnian town of Brcko (real name Edin Osmic) has been a regular on the charts and fans have flocked to buy original copies of the album in Croatia.
Just behind Maajka is a man who featured in last week's CD review, Arsen Dedic, whose latest album 'Rebus' has been selling well for several weeks. The top three is rounded off by Drazen Zecic and his album 'Oprosti svijete', which has been selling exceptionally well after his massive recent concerts in Croatia.
Another album to feature in our last CD review of the fortnight was Azra's ''Ultimate Collection'', which alongside a new album by folk artist Dusko Kulis, rounds of the top five.
Some albums that are almost ready for release are ''Hrvatski Radijski Festival 2008'' and the much anticipated album by Goran Karan called ''Dite ljubavi''.
Keep an eye out for these and all the latest albums in future editions of the CD review of the fortnight.
