Turn the clock back to the tempestuous year of 1991 in a war-ravaged Croatia, and one musical/patriotic act will be a consistent, from the bottom of Dalmatia to the top of the capital Zagreb - the song 'Moja Domovina'. The Croatian Homeland War (Independence War) had just begun and music was proving to be a real saving grace for the people of this beautiful, but war-ravaged land.
Two years ago, a truly fantastic concert at Hajduk Split's Poljud Stadium titled ''Ne damo te pismo nasa'' was held in front of over 40, 000 fans, Several top class klape featured in the concert, from which a stunning DVD and CD was created.
According to the fairly accurate Croatian music website (topoftheshops.com.hr), Bosnian rapper and R&B artist Edo Maajka and his latest album 'Balkansko, a nase' is the current bestseller on the 'album's' chart.
