MELBOURNE - Last week, talented young Melbourne Croatian accordion player Joseph Corio enjoyed the opportunity of a lifetime, when he showed the nation that he truly does possess some amazing musical talent.

The Australian/Croatian community both here in Melbourne and in Croatia, (Korcula/Blato) has been left deeply saddened by the recent loss of a young woman whose world was truly her oyster. One of the first and most highly recognised ultrasonographers in Melbourne, Croatian born Jackie Cooke (maiden name Tulic), recently  passed away, leaving behind her daughter Jessica (14), son Stephen (12), husband Richard, mother Katica, father Paval, sisters Lily and Jamie (author of this article), as well as many loved relatives and friends in the early hours of April 1st, following her long and exhausting battle with cancer.

SYDNEY - Learning the Croatian language can be a challenging task for even the most passionate person. But for one man, the achievement of learning basic Croatian language skills was worth so much more.

SYDNEY - The Croatian community in Sydney has been left deeply saddened by the recent death of a young man who had so much going for in his life. A young man who, despite his tender age of just 23 years, touched so many lives and leaves an indelible impression on so many who knew him - and those who had heard about his plight.

SYDNEY - The Sydney Croatian community and the Sydney United Football Club were saddened to hear the unfortunate news last week that promising young Australian Croatian footballer and Sydney United player Mark Tresoglavic passed away last Thursday (13th March) at the young age of 23.
