MELBOURNE - Earlier this year, local Victorian-based women of Croatian extraction united to create a wonderful incentive for raising awareness of breast cancer. On Saturday, August the 23rd, later this year, the broader Croatian community in Melbourne will unite to raise money and awareness for those that are affected by this often fatal disease.
MELBOURNE - Last Saturday evening, the St. Albans Saints Soccer Club, affectionately known as Dinamo, celebrated a fun-filled fundraiser at their luxurious clubrooms At Churchill Reserve in the western Melbourne suburb of St Albans.
ADELAIDE - The Adelaide Croatian community had a great reason to party in the traditional manner like villagers once did in a bygone era, when the sixth annual 'Seljacka Vecer'' was staged at the Croatian Sports Centre a fortnight ago.
MELBOURNE - Last Saturday (May 24), the Croatian folkloric group from Clifton Hill, "Mladi Hrvati", attended ''Vic-Ethnofest 2008'' which was organised by the Australian Macedonian Youth Association "Nikola Karev".

It is the one day that they are recognised by their families, friends and the broader community for their tremendous effort and challenging role as a mother. We get the opportunity to say 'thank you' to our mothers for their caring and loving qualities. In the tradition of celebrating Mother's Day, Croatians around Australia and in Croatia mark this occasion with a family lunch.
